  • Perfect within 40 ms · Great 80 ms · Good 125 ms · anything later is a Miss. Tapping an empty lane costs nothing — but a tap just before a note (up to 175 ms early) takes it as a Miss, so mashing does not pay.
  • Combo counts hits in a row; a miss (or letting a hold go too early) resets it. Every 50 is a milestone.
  • Score is out of 1,000,000: 90% from accuracy, 10% from your longest combo.
  • Grade: S ≥ 95% accuracy, A ≥ 90, B ≥ 80, C ≥ 70, D below. A full combo means not a single miss.
  • Life bar (optional): misses drain it, hits refill it. Empty = the song ends for you.
  • Your best score per song and difficulty goes on the leaderboard. Only songs played to the end count, and only they earn store credits.
  • Join the Versus room; the host picks the song and difficulty.
  • Everybody starts on the same beat — the server counts you all in together.
  • The bars on the side show everyone's live score and combo.
  • Highest score wins (accuracy breaks a tie). Join mid-song and you watch the live bars until the next one.
